| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provides technical writing, editing and guidance.
- Ensures that all standard, updated proposal language is incorporated into the technical proposal.
- Assists in managing the proposal process for all new proposals and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) from start to finish.
- Integrates technical information from SMEs into a professionally written technical proposal.
- Writes technical copy for proposal development and various operations and maintenance manuals and technical publications.
- Prepares written text and coordinates layout and organization of narrative and graphics incorporated into business proposals, manuals and other documents according to prepared outlines and specifications.
- Researches available technical data including product information, operational concepts, technical approaches, drawings, design reports, equipment and test specifications in support of proposal development.
- Researches, develops and writes content for technical and management documents for proposals, contract specific manuals, system solutions or training collateral.
- Ensures technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and departmental specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style.
- Creates graphic illustrations, charts, matrices, flow diagrams, and process flow charts for proposals that includes requests for graphic artists, write captions and introduce figures in text.
QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Bachelor degree required; preferable in English or related field. Four (4) years demonstrated technical writing experience.
Demonstrated or verifiable experience with government contracting and proposal development required. Demonstrated or verifiable proficiency with Microsoft Word, Project & Excel required.
MUST have experience writing as a Technical/Proposal writer in the Government Contractor space. Should have a journalism or liberal arts background and should have worked in the Marketing and Communications side of a business.

- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, Marketing, proposal preparation, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Must be able to work independently on multiple tasks which are high priority. Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow through. Attention to detail and thoroughness are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas into understandable language for technical proposals.
- Must be able to set priorities in an environment with competing/changing demands.
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to represent Tatitlek to external organizations as required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Technical writing/editing experience is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates, supervises, manages, and/or support personnel.
