SUMMARY BACKGROUND: Tatitlek is bidding as the Prime Contractor to provide Student Support Services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) mission at Artesia, NM. FLETC serves as an interagency law enforcement training organization for 81 Federal agencies (aka Partner Organizations). The Center also provides services to state, local, and international law enforcement agencies. The FLETC is situated on 220 acres in the northwest section of the City of Artesia. SUMMARY The Project Manager (PM) is the senior on-site corporate official responsible for the overall success of the Student Services Project. The PM takes direction from, reports to, and advises the TSSI General Manager (GM).

| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assures the client's satisfaction with Tatitlek's contract performance, in accordance with Tatitlek corporate values and objectives and within delegated authority.
- Enforces corporate standards, policies, and procedures, and assures the organization's good order and discipline, health and safety, and compliance with local/state/federal law and regulation.
- Builds rapport and coordinates with designated representatives of FLETC, with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), and with representatives of the Department of Homeland Security and other designate stake holders.
- Coordinates with Tatitlek corporate and subcontractor leadership and staff.
- Thoroughly understands the contract, including all specified and implied tasks.
- Organizes Project resources; establishes plans, policies, processes and procedures; and prioritizes Project tasks
- Controls, supervises, and directs project employees and subcontractors to ensure that they safely and efficiently execute contract tasks; validates and reports on performance and quality.
- May serve as the Project Safety Officer and / or Quality Control Manager.
- Develops the potential of subordinate managers and staff, by coaching, evaluating, rewarding, and - as necessary - disciplining.
- Performs all other relevant duties as assigned by TSSI's GM.
QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Required Education, Experience, and Skills include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management or related field.
- Five years of Project/Program Management experience or related experience.
- Experience with DHS and/or FLETC (required)
- Experience with FLETC Student Support Services project(s) (desired)
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills include:
- Master's Degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Engineering, or other project and personnel management discipline.
- Military or Government equivalent experience as an E-8/9 or 0-4/5
- Operational experience with USG first responders
- Five years successful experience managing in a military or federal law enforcement Training or Training Support operational environment.
- Continuing education in project management, working knowledge of project planning.
- Successful experience as Project Manager/Operating Officer (or equivalent) on a project producing NLT up to $10M Annual Gross Revenue (AGR)

- US Government business contracting procedures.
