| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Patrol land to prevent unauthorized trespass, including: hunting, camping, and other non-permitted activities.
- Examine credentials of persons attempting to access The Tatitlek Corporation's land.
- Warn persons of rule infractions or coordinate with law enforcement agencies in apprehensions and removals.
- Write reports of activities and irregularities such as equipment or land damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Direct and coordinate activities with staff at TTC headquarters.
- Maintain no trespassing signs, including: replacement, location, I.D., and brush removal.
- Inform the public how to acquire land permits.
- Complete other projects and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience
- High school Diploma or equivalency
- Experience in security, military, law enforcement or related field a plus
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities The ability to communicate information and ideas in both verbal and written so others will understand & as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Knowledge of The Tatitlek Corporation lands, restricted or sensitive area and trends in recreational use of Prince William Sound. Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb inclines; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to both indoor and outdoor environment conditions as well as weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
