SUMMARY Manages and directs the operational policies, objectives, and initiatives of the subsidiary within guidelines as defined by the Sr. VP of Operations and the Director of the specific Business Line. General Manager will report operationally when applicable and defined by Sr VP Operations to Director of Specific Business Line. Candidate must be familiar with a variety of field specific concepts, practices, and procedures and have the ability to build a team and provide the necessary leadership to attain the objectives. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Direct and coordinate activities of business(es) or department(s) concerned with the production, pricing, sales, and/or distribution of products as identified by Sr VP of Ops or Director of specific Business Line
- Support all Operational and Business Development activities required by Sr Vp Operations and Director of Specific Business Line.
- In close coordination with applicable Business Line Director manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
- Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
- Implement departmental policies and procedures established by the corporation.
- Establish goals and objectives, conferring with board members, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.
- Prepare and/or assist in preparation of proposals necessary for continued growth opportunities and potential business opportunities.
- Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
- Monitor businesses and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
- Provide strategic vision of growth to the organizational officials and the Board for the product and services provided.
- Oversee activities directly related to making products or providing services.
- Prepare and maintain the company budget.
- Direct and coordinate the company's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency as defined by organizational officials.
- Support goods and services to be sold, contribute to setting prices and credit terms, based on recognized commercial forecasts and customer demand.
- Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Minimum BS/BA in Business or related field. Minimum eight (8) years of related experience. Other qualifications may be considered as equivalents in lieu of stated minimums at the discretion of the hiring authority. Government and 8(a) contracting experience preferred. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
